Parameshwara Kurapati, DVM, MS
Dr. Kurapati received his veterinary degree in India and holds a master’s degree in Veterinary Pathobiology from the University of Connecticut. He practiced in the northern U.S. for 9 years before realizing he needed to get to Texas as quickly as he could.
Dr. Kurapati has a special interest in diagnostic and evidence-based medicine along with a focus in dentistry. He believes in reassuring your pets before any medical treatments begin.
Taesun Kwon, DVM
Dr. Kwon studied veterinary medicine at Chonnam National University in Gwang-ju, South Korea. Upon graduating, Dr. Kwon served as the head veterinary officer for the Korean Military, overseeing the largest military animal hospital by providing healthcare to over 500 military working dogs. On the weekends, Dr. Kwon also volunteered at a local referral hospital.
Dr. Kwon moved to the United States in 2014 and worked as an associate veterinarian at AAHA-accredited veterinary hospitals in Palmdale, California, and Denton, Texas, before joining Crossroads Pet Hospital here in Carrollton. Dr. Kwon has a special interest in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery.
Lead Veterinary Technician
Fred moved to the Metroplex area when he was 3 years old. He has been a veterinary technician since 2002, and joined the Crossroads team in June 2016. He lives in Carrollton with his wife, two teenage sons, and 2 cats named Batman and Joker.
Morgan currently attends Cedar Valley College where she will graduate in May with her Associates in Veterinary Medicine. Working with animals has always been her dream, and she hopes to one day work within Exotic Medicine, helping animals in sanctuaries. She has a fur-baby of her own named Cappie, who us an 85-lb lap dog.
Shannon was born and raised in the DFW metroplex. She studied Biology at Tarleton State University, and has been a Veterinary Technician for the last 15 years. In her free time she enjoys painting, traveling and hanging out with her family, friends, and 4 pets. Shannon has 2 cats named Sophie and Zuko and 2 dogs named Paizley and Piper.
Jess was born in South Holland, Illinois and moved to Dallas, Texas at the age of 14. She has been passionately grooming for the past 9 years. She has an amazing family of pets which includes, 7 dogs, 3 cats, and 2 tree frogs named Paramour and Paradox. In her leisure time she plays acoustic and electric guitar and has been doing so for 13 years.
Nadia was born in Indonesia and moved to the U.S when she was 6. She’s lived in California, Oregon, Florida, New Mexico and now Dallas. Before joining Crossroads she worked in sales, administrative assistance, and customer service. She loves to travel, eat out with her family and friends and spend quality time with her husband and her 2 dogs Benn and Ginger.
Erika was born in Mexico and raised in Dallas, TX. She joined our Crossroads team in June 2016, but has been in the vet field since 2014. Erika is currently in school to become a veterinary technician. In her free time she enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and going on walks with her two beagles Shiloh and Daisy. She also has a Florida White rabbit named Peeta.
Ashley was an army brat growing up. She has spent most of her adult life in Texas. Prioir to working at Crossroads, she worked at a hair salon in Highland Park. Ashley loves spending time with her human dog Dallas. Ashley plans to continue her education in Business Management.
Viola joined our team in July of 2016 and has been in the veterinary field for over 40 years. She was born in Mexico and moved to Chicago in the 1980s. Before moving to the United States, she and her husband managed a veterinary clinic for 28 years. She later moved to Dallas to raise her family. Viola was a kennel tech assistant at Carrollton Animal Hospital for 20 years. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family. She has two Schnauzers named Coby and Charlie and an African grey parrot named Shasha.
