Erin Houser, DVM
Dr. Houser received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from University of Minnesota in 2010. After an internship at Carolina Veterinary Specialists in North Carolina, Dr. Houser worked in companion animal general practice and emergency practice, bringing a broad set of skills to Crossroads Pet Hospital.
Dr. Houser lives with her husband and their three pets, a three-legged Labrador Retriever/golden retriever mix, a Japanese Chin, and a cat. When not practicing medicine, Dr. Houser enjoys knitting, crafting, and sewing. She also loves to sing and spend time outdoors.
Jess was born in South Holland, Illinois and moved to Dallas, Texas at the age of 14. She has been passionately grooming for the past 9 years. She has an amazing family of pets which includes, 7 dogs, 3 cats, and 2 tree frogs named Paramour and Paradox. In her leisure time she plays acoustic and electric guitar and has been doing so for 13 years.
Nadia was born in Indonesia and moved to the U.S when she was 6. She’s lived in California, Oregon, Florida, New Mexico and now Dallas. Before joining Crossroads she worked in sales, administrative assistance, and customer service. She loves to travel, eat out with her family and friends and spend quality time with her husband and her 2 dogs Benn and Ginger.
Ashley was an army brat growing up. She has spent most of her adult life in Texas. Prioir to working at Crossroads, she worked at a hair salon in Highland Park. Ashley loves spending time with her human dog Dallas. Ashley plans to continue her education in Business Management.
Viola joined our team in July of 2016 and has been in the veterinary field for over 40 years. She was born in Mexico and moved to Chicago in the 1980s. Before moving to the United States, she and her husband managed a veterinary clinic for 28 years. She later moved to Dallas to raise her family. Viola was a kennel tech assistant at Carrollton Animal Hospital for 20 years. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family. She has two Schnauzers named Coby and Charlie and an African grey parrot named Shasha.
