Erin Houser, DVM
Dr. Houser received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from University of Minnesota in 2010. After an internship at Carolina Veterinary Specialists in North Carolina, Dr. Houser worked in companion animal general practice and emergency practice, bringing a broad set of skills to Crossroads Pet Hospital.
Dr. Houser lives with her husband and their three pets, a three-legged Labrador Retriever/golden retriever mix, a Japanese Chin, and a cat. When not practicing medicine, Dr. Houser enjoys knitting, crafting, and sewing. She also loves to sing and spend time outdoors.
Jess was born in South Holland, Illinois and moved to Dallas, Texas at the age of 14. She has been passionately grooming for the past 9 years. She has an amazing family of pets which includes, 7 dogs, 3 cats, and 2 tree frogs named Paramour and Paradox. In her leisure time she plays acoustic and electric guitar and has been doing so for 13 years.
Kellie-Rae has been in the veterinary industry since 2002. In that time, she has worked in both emergency care and in day practices, starting out as a receptionist and moving into management. Animals and their wellbeing have been a lifelong passion for Kellie-Rae and she looks forward to expanding on that passion at Crossroads Pet Hospital.
Sharvonne has been in the veterinary field for the last 4 years. She grew up in California then lived in Maryland for 3 years before moving to Texas in 2018. She has two rescue dogs – a retriever mix named Cole and a Terrier mix named Peach. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends and her work family here at Crossroads.
Viola joined our team in July of 2016 and has been in the veterinary field for over 40 years. She was born in Mexico and she and her husband managed a veterinary clinic for 28 years before moving to the US. Viola was a kennel tech assistant at Carrollton Animal Hospital for 20 years and is now the Kennel Manager. She has two Schnauzers named Coby and Charlie and an African grey parrot named Shasha.
Jessica has been in the veterinary field for over 5 years. She has 3 cats, 2 dogs, and 1 child that keeps her very busy.
Angie has worked in the veterinary field for 11 years. She has worked all 11 years in day practice and 6 years in emergency. Angie graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Biology. She currently owns two cats, Han Solo and Marvel.
